The Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality from last year and this year’s Indie Bundle for Palestinian Aid offered hundreds of games for a great price. Subtracting any duplicate items that appear in both bundles, there is a total of about 2700 possible games to choose from. With so many games to choose from, how do you know which game you want to play next?
Itch.io’s interface for browsing through games in a bundle is limited, so there is not much you can do to narrow down the results. To solve this, someone has thankfully created a tool for suggesting a Random Bundle Game. This website helps you browse and filter out the types of games offered in each bundle and can recommend you a game randomly.
For the browsing and filtering tool, you have several filter options you can use to get the games you want. These options include, genres, tags, ratings, and platforms. Adding these filters will narrow down the amount of games you should check out.
The second feature, which is the random game recommender, will randomly suggest a game at the click of a button. You may also apply filters in case you had a specific type of game you want to play.
For now, the website only contains games from the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality and the Indie Bundle for Palestinian Aid. However, should more Itch.io bundles come out, I think it would be great if those bundles get supported on this website. This website is a tool that does a great job at narrowing down and giving you suggestions conveniently.
